We were in State College to visit family when a dormant molar problem resurfaced, and I needed an urgent Root Canal due to intense pain. We found Pelka Endodontics and they were gracious to take me in the very next morning after a quick referral from my regular dentist. The entire experience with Pelka was incredible for a Root Canal. The front staff were extraordinary in arranging the appointment with both my dentist and my wife and then very personable and efficient when I entered the office for my procedure. Savannah led me back for my X-Ray (on incredibly modern equipment), prepped me, and explained the procedure and aftercare. Dr. Pelka came in and also explained each aspect of what was happening with my tooth and what the procedure would entail. He and Savannah worked in tandem to quickly complete the procedure with absolutely no pain. Kudos to the flawless scheduling, to all the Staff and Dr. Pelka, and for the modern, clean facility. Thank you, and if I ever have the need for another Root Canal, I will travel the 3 hours to get it at Pelka Endodontics.

I can not say enough about this staff and Physician. It started with Lisa in the williamsport office assisting in getting my appointment expedited! I was in an enormous amount of pain and she was so attentive to my situation. Melissa at check in state college was wonderful as well. Very caring and informative. Anna May, Dr Pelkas assistant was so great! She explained everything in detail and she made me sooo comfortable. And finally Dr Pelka was amazing! He explained everything before starting and he did an excellent job on my root canal. Great office all around and super friendly staff. I highly recommend!

I have had several root canals completed over the past year at Pelka Endodontics and every experience has been as pleasant as it could possibly be. I deal with a lot of anxiety when it comes to dental procedures, but the entire team consistently goes above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, informed, and at ease. From the moment you walk in, the staff is welcoming, patient, and understanding. The doctors take the time to explain everything clearly.... their calm and reassuring approach truly makes a difference, especially for someone like me who tends to be nervous. My roots canals have always gone smoothly and (most importantly) pain free! If you ever find yourself needing a root canal, I highly recommend this office. They have turned what could be a very stressful experience into something manageable and, honestly, as positive as it can be.

first time having work done here. I would highly recommend them. From the time I walked in the door, it was warm and welcoming, from the receptionist to the surgeon. I don't like needles, and so Dr. Pelka talked me through the entire process. His voice was very calming and soothing. Even after the root canal, I had very little discomfort. Again I would recommend him for root canals!
